Indian business visa for a British national

eVisa
An eVisa is available for this travel. The eVisas are valid for a single entry and 30 days stay only. This options would be useful for urgent trips. However, where time allows a standard "paper" visa would be a better option as it can be valid for 6 months multiple entries. Appointment system
Indian High Commission introduced appointment system. Upon completion of online application forms we will book a submission appointment to submit the documents. Personal appearance of the applicants is required.
Visa application form

- AnyVisa can complete your online application form. Please fill out this questionnaire and email it to us before sending required documents. Completed form will be emailed to you for signature within 40 minutes during normal working hours. This will be charged additional to handling fee £20+VAT.
Invitation letter - the invitation letter must be issued by an Indian registered company, be on headed paper and include applicant's FULL name, passport details, dates of travel. It must be signed by an authorised person with name, position and contact details stated. You can ask the inviter to use this sample letter to make sure the invite meets the requirements.
Photo services - AnyVisa can resize your photos to the right standard at the cost of £15+VAT per person. You just need to send us a good quality UK passport standard photo, which we will convert to the right size before applying for the visa.
Visa validity - Six months multiple entry visas are granted almost by default. One and two year visa requests might be granted for 6 months, in which case the embassy will still charge the requested longer visa fee.
Media related applicants - Applicants related to media must show evidence that they are not intending to gather materials for publication during their visit. Letter from employer confirming this should be sufficient. Normally only single entry visas are issued.
Applicants of Pakistani origin - Application will be referred to India for approval, which can take up to 12 weeks. Passport will normally be returned for this time back to applicant. Once approval is received the applicant will be contacted by the embassy requesting the passport back. Normally, only single entry visas are issued.
Applicants of Indian origin - Must show certificate of surrender of Indian nationality or at least one previously issued Indian visa.

- by AnyVisa courier (London; courier delivery fees); please let us know when your documents are ready for collection
- in person or by your courier service at any time between 9am and 6pm from Monday to Friday
- by post via Royal Mail Special Delivery for arrival before 1pm (do not post for Saturday delivery unless prearranged with one of our representative)
