UK national to Russia Business visa
- Passport with at least two blank pages and valid for at least 6 months beyond the requested visa (how to renew your passport)
- 1 recent passport size photo
- 1 application form (see below)
- Official business invitation letter (see below for details)
- Supporting letter from employer (draft)
Please be advised that until further notice, visa centres will be operating by appointment only.
The mandatory appointment fee of 50 GBP + 23 GBP mandatory passport delivery fee is applicable per application and these can be only refunded if cancelled more than 24 hours prior to appointment.
Fingerprints
Applicants of all nationalities over 12 years old must submit fingerprints. Fingerprinting is required with every visa application even if one had already been fingerprinted for previous visa application. Our knowledge and years of experience will ensure that your visit to the one of the visa centres will go as smooth as possible.
Application form
Will be completed by us using information from your order form or/and previously used application forms.
Invitation letter
Invitation can be issued by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Federal Migration Services only. If you do not have one, we will obtain it on your behalf for an additional fee (see visa costs below).
Holders of valid Russian visas
Those with still valid at the time of application Russian visas must supply those visas in original to be cancelled for the new visa to be issued.
Self-employed applicants
Must provide self-supporting letter (draft) and bank statements for the last three months with a balance of at least £100 per day of stay in Russia. Online banking printouts must be certified by a stamp from issuing bank.
Entry requirement
- Foreign citizens residing in UK can enter the Russian Federation, but from the UK only through air checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation.
- Medical certificate issued within 3 days before entering Russia, confirming negative for COVID-19 on a Polymerase chain reaction (PCR test for COVID-19) in English or Russian; othwerwise could be denied boarding an aircraft.

Applications submitted in Edinburgh or Manchester
The applicant only needs to attend the Visa Centre at a convenient date and time to submit their documents & fingerprints and pay appropriate visa fee. Full guidance on submission will be provided. Passport with visa will be delivered to the traveller by the Visa Centre. Important - Please email us a copy of your visa so we can check it for errors.
